Oak View Loft

Oak View Loft is one of three cottages here at Stone House Farm near Ingham Corner. It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well looked after, but it's not a hotel.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. The living space is open plan. There's a private enclosed garden with a patio and furniture for you. You can park right outside.

The cottage is in the middle of our land, which is about ten acres of woodland and wildflowers. It's a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so there's a lot of birdlife. You're welcome to walk around the paths. There's a riverside deck overlooking the water that leads to Horsey Mere. It's very quiet.

We have a shared games room with a pool table and table tennis. We can provide beach towels if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available.

The local award-winning pub is about a mile away. They do good food. The nearest shop is in Stalham, about three miles.

For the beach, Sea Palling is three miles. It's sandy and has cafes and shops. You can sometimes see seals at Waxham, which is also close. The Norfolk Broads are about a ten minute drive. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Broads, is ten miles. You can get boat trips there.

Within half an hour you can get to some good National Trust places, like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall. Horsey Windpump is nearby too. The market town of Aylsham and the coast at Cromer are also within easy reach.

This is one of three cottages on site. They can be booked together for larger groups.
