Stag's Rest is here in Witton, Norfolk. It's one of a few converted barns, brick and flint, on the same site. We're on site too, but the layout means you've got your own privacy. It's peaceful, surrounded by fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and in good order. Everything's on the ground floor, which is practical. The main room is open plan with a wood burner. There's a fenced courtyard garden with a table, chairs, and a barbecue.
You're about two miles from the beach at Walcott. There's a shop and a pub in the village, also about two miles. The lanes around here are quiet, good for walking or cycling straight from the door. You're welcome to use the shared meadow, about an acre of grass. We get a barn owl around the place quite often.
Within half an hour you can get to a few different coasts. Cromer and Sheringham are one way, traditional seaside towns. Cromer has a pier, a beach, and the RNLI lifeboat station. Heading the other way, you've got Mundesley and Sea Palling. Blakeney is about a 25 minute drive, where you can get boat trips out to see the seals.
Norwich is roughly half an hour's drive. It's a proper city with a cathedral, castle, shops, and places to eat. If you want to see the Broads, Wroxham is about twenty minutes away. You can hire boats there.
Facilities wise, you've got the wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
