Samphire
This is Samphire. It's in Bacton, pretty much on the Norfolk coast. The beach is a few minutes walk away. It's a tall Victorian terrace house.
It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well looked after and comfortable. It's been renovated, so it's fresh inside. Because it's Victorian, the stairs are fairly typical for that: a bit steep and narrow. The top floor bedroom has four single beds, which is a good space for kids. They can make a bit of noise up there without bothering everyone else.
You can bring dogs, up to four. The garden at the back is enclosed, so it's secure. There's on-site parking for two cars.
In the village, there's a shop about five minutes walk and a restaurant. The local pub is a mile away. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Mundesley or North Walsham.
Bacton Woods is very close for walks. If you head east along the coast, you can walk to Happisburgh lighthouse. Going west takes you towards Mundesley and then on to Cromer. The coast path is all linked up.
You're well placed for days out. Cromer and Sheringham are about a twenty minute drive for the pier and proper seaside stuff. Norwich is under forty minutes for the cathedral and shops. The Broads are close too, you can hire a boat in Wroxham. If you like seals, Horsey beach is about forty minutes away in winter. There are a few National Trust places nearby: Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, and Sheringham Park are all within half an hour.
The house has the things you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you've got little ones. There's also a BBQ in the garden.
