Samphire
Samphire is in Bacton on the north Norfolk coast. It's a Victorian terrace house, three floors tall and painted white. It sleeps ten, which is a lot. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms.
There are four bedrooms. One kingsize with an ensuite, another kingsize, and a twin, all on the first floor. Up on the second floor is a room with four single beds. It's set up as a kids' den with toys and games consoles. It's a good space if you've got a group.
The kitchen is modern and has a breakfast area. The living and dining room is one big space, good for everyone to be together. It's been renovated so it feels fresh.
You're about 200 yards from the beach. It's sandy. The village has a shop and a restaurant about 350 yards away. The local pub is a mile walk.
Bacton Wood is nearby for walks. For a day out, Cromer and Sheringham are roughly 12 miles east. Traditional seaside stuff. Wroxham, also about 12 miles, is where you can hire a boat on the Broads. Norwich is a bit further, maybe 25-30 minutes by car. It's a proper city with a cathedral, shops, the lot.
The garden here is enclosed, which is useful. There's parking on site. You can bring up to four dogs. It has a 4 Star rating.
There are a lot of National Trust places within half an hour: Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, and Sheringham Park. Horsey Beach is where you see the seals in winter, that's about a 20 minute drive.
