Jenny's Cottage is in Mundesley. It's a mid-terrace place, built in the 19th century. That means the walls are thick and the rooms are a sensible size, but it's not enormous.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, with things like a woodburning stove for winter. The stairs are in the original cottage style, so they're a bit steep and narrow. There's a stairgate at the top if you need it.
The main thing is the location. You're about a five minute walk from the beach. It's sandy and dogs are allowed. Out the garden gate there's a park with a mini golf course and a skate park.
Mundesley itself has shops, a couple of pubs, and cafés, all within walking distance. For a bigger day out, Cromer and Sheringham are along the coast. They've got more beaches, proper piers, and crab fishing. Wroxham, which is the main spot for the Norfolk Broads, is about a 20 minute drive. You can hire boats there.
If you drive for about half an hour, you can get to the seals at Horsey Gap. It's a good trip. Norwich is also about 30 minutes away for city things like the castle museum, shops, or a cinema.
There are some National Trust places nearby if that's your sort of thing. Felbrigg Hall is close, and so is the Blickling Estate.
Facilities: you've got parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and an enclosed garden. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing a baby.
