This is Turnstones, our bungalow in Walcott. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level which is handy. We sorted it all out in 2022, so it's fresh and clean.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom, which has a walk-in shower. The main thing is it's comfortable. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, all that. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids.
The best bit is probably the conservatory. It looks out over the garden and you can see a bit of the sea from there. It's a good spot to sit.
Walcott itself is small. The beach is about five or ten minutes walk away. It's sandy. There are two pubs in the village, both do food. There's a fish and chip shop and a shop. That's about it, which is the point really.
If you want to go out, Cromer is up the coast. It's got a pier, promenade, the usual seaside stuff. For the Broads, you'd drive to Wroxham. You can hire boats from there. It's about half an hour.
Further along the coast, Blakeney is nice. You can get boat trips to see the seals from there. Norwich is about forty minutes if you want a city day, for shopping or the castle.
We allow two pets. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a travel cot and a highchair if you need them.
