It's called Jenny's. It's a bungalow on a quiet street in Stalham. Everything is on the ground floor, which makes it easy. There are two bedrooms and it sleeps four. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The garden is fully enclosed, which is good for a dog or for kids. There's a conservatory that looks out onto it. We put a table and chairs in there, it's a nice spot.
Stalham is a small market town. The high street is a short walk away, less than ten minutes. You've got a supermarket, a few shops, and a couple of places to eat there. There's a pub nearby too.
For the coast, Sea Palling is about a ten minute drive. It's a sandy beach with dunes. Horsey and Waxham are a bit further north, maybe fifteen minutes. Those beaches are quieter. In the winter, you can see the grey seals at Horsey when they come in to pup.
The Norfolk Broads start at Stalham Staithe, which is just the other side of the main coast road. You can hire a day boat from there, or just walk along the river. For a bigger choice of boat hire, Wroxham is about twenty minutes drive.
Further afield, Norwich is a good half hour drive. It's a proper city with a castle, a cathedral, and lots of shops. Great Yarmouth is about the same distance in the other direction, if you want amusements and a pier.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi works. You can park on the driveway. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
