The Beeches is in Sea Palling, about a five minute walk from the beach. It's a detached house, set back from the road. You're on your own plot.
It sleeps six across four bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which I think reflects the space and the maintenance. One of the bathrooms is on the ground floor and there are no internal steps, which is good if stairs are tricky.
The main thing is it has its own indoor heated swimming pool. It's in a separate room off the conservatory. The conservatory has doors out to the garden, which is enclosed and lawned.
The beach is sandy and backed by dunes. The village has a shop and a couple of pubs within a few minutes' walk. For a bigger shop, Stalham is about a five minute drive.
Within half an hour you've got a few options. The Norfolk Broads start just inland. You can hire a day boat from places like Potter Heigham or Wroxham. Waxham Great Barn is up the coast, a very old building with a tea room sometimes open.
Further along the coast, past Happisburgh, is the RSPB reserve at Bempton. Boat trips to see the seals at Blakeney Point leave from Morston, which is about 25 minutes away. Great Yarmouth is around 20 minutes for the amusements. Norwich is maybe 35 minutes for a proper day out shopping or at the castle.
What's here: the pool, the enclosed garden, parking for a couple of cars. A woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
