Cockleshell Cottage is in Sea Palling, Norfolk. It's a detached house painted white, about a three minute walk from the beach. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids.
It sleeps six people in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. That makes mornings a bit easier. It's a 4 Star place, so everything is in good order and it's comfortable. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
The local shop and the pub are just along the road, maybe a hundred yards. The pub does meals. The beach is sandy and wide, and it's never too crowded here. You can walk for miles along the dunes.
If you drive for twenty minutes or so, you can get to Happisburgh with its lighthouse, or Mundesley and Cromer. Cromer has the pier and the crab. Great Yarmouth, with all the big seaside stuff, is about half an hour south.
The Norfolk Broads are really close for boat trips or wildlife. You can be at Wroxham in under half an hour.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. Parking is right there on the drive. Bedding and towels are included, and we have a cot and highchair if you need them.
