The building is all on one level. There's a ramp to the front door, so it's suitable for wheelchair access. The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for winter. The garden is lawn, with seating that looks out over open fields. It's very quiet.
The local pub is an award winner. It's about a quarter of a mile away, a short walk, and they do good food. The nearest shop is in Stalham, about ten minutes by car.
You're about five minutes' drive from the beach at Sea Palling. It's sandy. Further along the coast at Horsey Gap, seals come ashore with their pups in the winter. The Norfolk Broads are about ten minutes' drive away.
Wroxham, known as the capital of the Broads, is nine miles away. You can hire boats there or take a trip on the Bure Valley Railway. Norwich is about half an hour's drive for shops, the cathedral, and the castle museum.
The property is in a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so there's a lot of birdlife. The area is flat, good for walking and cycling. The coast road is popular with bikes.
