Coot Cottage
Coot Cottage is one of five on this little development near Wayford Bridge. It's right on the river, which is the main thing.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and comfortable, but you're really here for the Broads.
You get patio doors that open out onto your own bit of private garden and a quay heading. There's a small rowing dinghy you can use, which is included. That's the best way to see things. You're sharing an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna with the other four cottages here. It's nice, especially if the weather turns.
You're about 250 yards from a shop and a pub. Stalham's close for groceries. For the coast, it's about a 20-minute drive to places like Sea Palling for the beach.
By car, Wroxham is 15 minutes, Norwich is about half an hour, and Great Yarmouth is maybe 25 minutes. The National Trust in Norfolk page has details of places like Blickling Hall, which is within range for a day out.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
