Jib Sail
Jib Sail is an apartment in Hoveton, on the Norfolk Broads. It’s one of a row right on the water, with its own private mooring and a decked balcony. You get a good view of the river traffic from there.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms, so no queues in the morning. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s modern and comfortable.
The main thing is the boat. A motor day launch is included free of charge, except during the school summer holidays. You can moor it right outside. In the summer, you can hire one from the owner at a lower rate. If you like fishing and have a licence, you can fish from the owner’s other bits of river frontage nearby.
Wroxham is the nearest place, about a mile away. They call it the ‘Capital of the Broads’. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants there. You can walk or cycle on the local paths.
The coast is about half an hour’s drive. Cromer and Sheringham are proper seaside towns with sandy beaches. Norwich is less than ten miles away for a city day out: cathedral, castle, shops. National Trust places like Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are close by.
Facilities: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a stairgate if needed. You can bring up to two dogs. They provide life jackets for people, and pet ones are available for a refundable deposit.
