This is Greylag Goose. It's one of several houses at The Riverviews, by the river in Wroxham. They're modern places, all built together.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy.
The main living area is upstairs so you get the view. There's a balcony looking out towards the River Bure, which is about a hundred yards away. The gardens are enclosed, so that's safe for dogs and kids. You can park right there.
Wroxham is just a few minutes' walk. There are shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs there. It's useful. The whole point of this place is the river. The owner runs a boatyard and you get the use of a small motor launch included, for pottering about on the water. You pick it up from their yard and can moor it near the house. If you want to fish from their other bit of river frontage, you can, but you'll need your own gear and a licence.
For a day out, you can drive to the coast. Sea Palling or Happisburgh are about half an hour away for the beach. Norwich is under half an hour in the other direction, for the city and the cathedral. If you like grand old houses, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are both good and are about a 30 minute drive.
Stuff it has: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, a cot and a stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well kept. You can bring up to two dogs. There are life jackets for people, and you can get ones for dogs too with a deposit.
