Greylag Goose is in Wroxham, right in the middle of the Norfolk Broads. It's part of a small, modern row called The Riverviews. They all look out over a private marina.
It sleeps six people across three bedrooms, and they each have their own bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating. Upstairs is the living room and kitchen in one big open space, which is nice. There's a decent sized balcony off it.
The main thing is the location if you're into the water. You're about 100 yards from the River Bure. The view is of the river and the boats going past.
You get the free use of a small motor launch with the booking, which is a proper bonus. You have to collect it from the owner's boatyard nearby, but then you can moor it right by the property. You'd need to book that early for the main school holidays though.
There's a small enclosed courtyard garden with a barbecue. On-site parking is included.
Wroxham itself has everything you need. Shops, cafes, a few places to eat, all within a five-minute walk. The local pub is about the same distance. It's a busy little place, especially in summer.
The Broads are all around you for walking or cycling. If you've got a fishing licence and your own gear, the owner has some river frontage you can use nearby.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. You've got the beaches at places like Mundesley, then Cromer and Sheringham a bit further on. Norwich is under 20 minutes away for a proper city day out.
For National Trust visits, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are both easy to get to.
Inside, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. They have dog life jackets you can borrow for a small refundable deposit.
