The Cowshed is our place out in Witton. It's a single-storey barn we converted, so everything's on the ground floor. It's got a thatched roof, which looks nice, but just means you'll see a few more spiders than usual. It's detached, so it's just you out there.
It sleeps four with two bedrooms. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Outside, it's just fields. You can park right next to it. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. We include the bedding and towels. You can bring one dog.
The village shop is about half a mile away. The nearest pub is a mile and a half. For a bigger shop, or a day out, Norwich isn't far. It's a good city for a wander, with the castle and cathedral.
You're really here for the Broads though. Wroxham is only about four miles off. That's where you can hire a day boat and just pootle about on the water. It's the best way to see it. Strumpshaw Fen RSPB is very close if you like birdwatching. There's fishing about half a mile from the cottage.
The coast is about a 25 minute drive. Cromer or Happisburgh are the usual spots for a beach day.
