Church Barn Studio
The Church Barn Studio is in Surlingham. It's a single-storey, detached barn so everything is on one level. It's thatched and has beams. The main room is open plan.
It sleeps two, one bedroom with an ensuite shower room. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well-equipped.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside and bike storage.
One thing to note, being a barn conversion, the ceiling is high and the main room is big, but because it's all one space it might feel a bit cool sometimes in winter, even with the heating on. Just something to be aware of.
It's a rural spot. The village has a local shop and pubs about a mile and a half away. Good walking right from the door, and you're on the edge of the Broads for birdwatching and fishing.
Norwich city centre is about seven miles. The Norfolk coast, like Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft, is about seventeen miles. You can drive to the Broads proper, places like Wroxham, in under half an hour.
