Pintail is a detached chalet on the river in Brundall. It's all on one level. The main room has big windows looking straight out over the water. You can sit there and watch the boats go up and down. We see herons a lot. Kingfishers sometimes.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. Being all on one level makes it easy.
You have your own bit of river bank with a quay heading. You can fish from there if you want. It's a quiet spot.
The village centre with a shop is about a mile away. There's a pub that does food about 400 yards up the road. Brundall station is also walking distance if you fancy getting the train.
You're right on the southern rivers of the Broads. You can hire a day boat locally to potter about on the water. For walking or cycling, you can pick up the Weavers' Way or the Wherryman's Way nearby.
The coast is about a twenty minute drive. Great Yarmouth is that way if you want the classic seafront. Winterton-on-Sea has sandy dunes and you can sometimes see seals.
Norwich is about fifteen minutes by train from Brundall station. It's good for a day out: the castle, the cathedral, and the shopping is all there.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry. The garden is a patio area.
