The Old Stables
The Old Stables is in Cantley, Norfolk. It's a small building next to our house, but you've got your own front door. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Good shower. The kitchen is small but it's got everything you need. There's a washing machine and towels are included.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. Speaking of which, we take one well-behaved dog.
There's a pub about ten minutes walk away. They do food. The shop is three miles away in Reedham, so you'll want to bring some basics.
If you're after walking or cycling, the lanes around here are quiet. The Broads are on your doorstep. You can hire a boat in Reedham, which is three miles away. For a big beach day, Winterton is about twenty minutes by car. You can sometimes see seals there.
Norwich is about half an hour's drive. The cathedral is good. Or you can get the train from Cantley station, which is a five minute walk from the cottage.
For birdwatching, there's RSPB Breydon Water nearby, and the Broads Authority site has maps and information.
Parking is right next to the cottage. WiFi works fine.
