The Cottage
The Cottage is a converted timber barn near Norwich, in Upper Stoke. It's detached and sits in our garden, but it's private. You look out over our big garden and the fields and valley beyond. You can see the cathedral spire in Norwich on a clear day.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. One bedroom and a shower room are on the ground floor. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.
The kitchen is open plan. You get a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. There's a TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there. The garden is enclosed and there's a BBQ. Sorry, no pets.
The setting is quiet. You get ducks on the pond. Walks start from the door, including the Boudicca Way path. We're two miles from a shop, a pub, and some restaurants.
Norwich is about four miles away. That's where you'll find the castle, the cathedral, the Theatre Royal, and most of the shops. Dunston Golf Course is also four miles.
Within half an hour you can get to the Broads. Wroxham is about 13 miles and has boat hire. The coast is a bit further. Southwold is about 35 minutes drive.
