Cowslip Cottage Swardeston

Cowslip Cottage is in Swardeston village, about five miles from Norwich.

It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. It's semi-detached, attached to Meadowsweet Cottage next door, but you have your own space.

The main things are the private hot tub and sauna in your own garden. The garden is enclosed and looks out over a valley. No other houses in the view. On a clear night, you can see a lot of stars.

There are some quirks. It's in a village, but feels quite tucked away. The stairs are normal. The parking is on site, which is straightforward.

In the village, there's a bakery, a butchers, a newsagents, and a farm shop. The local pub is under a mile away and does food. Swardeston Common is good for a walk, and you can sometimes watch cricket there. The church is where Edith Cavell is remembered, if you're interested in that.

Norwich is a short drive. It's a proper city with shopping, the cathedral, museums, and places to eat.

For a day out, the north Norfolk coast is about half an hour's drive. Good beaches and villages like Winterton-on-Sea. The Norfolk Broads are close too, Wroxham is about sixteen miles for boat hire. For something different, there's Bewilderwood for kids, or Thetford Forest for walking and cycling.

What's here: All the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner, TV, and WiFi. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you bring cycles.
