The Brambles
The Brambles is a thatched cottage in Horning village. It's semi-detached, and next to an annexe where we handle the admin. Our cat lives there too, so you might see him about. He's friendly.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. There's parking for one car right outside.
You're right in the village. The local shop is a few steps away, and there are a couple of pubs about 50 yards down the road. They're proper Broads pubs, right on the river.
Being here, you're on the water. You can hire a day boat or a canoe from places nearby. It's the best way to see the Broads. For a walk, How Hill Nature Reserve is close and it's good for wildlife. If you've got children, BeWILDerwood is about a ten minute drive away.
Norwich is about ten miles if you need a city day. The cathedral is good, and there's shopping. The coast is about twelve miles. Sea Palling and Horsey have big sandy beaches and dunes. You can see seals at Blakeney, which is a bit further along the coast.
The place has what you'd expect: Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a ground floor wet room with a shower, which is handy. No pets, sorry.
