Fuggle
Fuggle is in Ludham, in the Norfolk Broads. It's a single-storey cottage for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main room is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a dining table, and a sitting area. The patio doors open onto an enclosed garden. It's not huge, but it's private and gets the sun in the evening. You can see a bit of the river from there.
Ludham village has what you need. There's a shop, a post office, a butchers, and a pub. The pub does food. The village green is nice to sit on and watch the boats go by on the river.
You're right in the Broads here. It's flat, so it's very good for walking and cycling. The footpaths start almost from the door. If you're into fishing, this is a well-known spot for it. You'll need a licence.
Wroxham is about a 12-minute drive. They call it the capital of the Broads. You can hire boats there for the day, or get on a trip boat. There are a few restaurants by the water. Wroxham Barns is on the way, it's got craft shops and a small farm for children.
The coast is about nine or ten miles. The beaches at Winterton-on-Sea and Sea Palling are sandy and have dunes.
Norwich is maybe 40 minutes by car. It's a proper city with a castle, a cathedral, shops, and the theatre.
For facilities: there's parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
