The Barn
The Barn is in Coltishall, which is a village on the river Bure. It's a detached timber building, so it's just you and the garden. The garden is enclosed and has a lawn.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms. One is on the ground floor, the other is a double up in the mezzanine. The stairs up to that one are steep. There's one bathroom, also on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You can walk to the river in about ten minutes. The village green is there. You can sit and watch the boats, or you can hire a canoe or a day boat from Wroxham, which is about three miles up the road. There's a pub right on the waterside with a beer garden.
Everything you need is in the village. There are four pubs that do food, takeaways, a butchers, a general store, and cafés. All of that is walking distance.
For a day out, Wroxham Barns is nearby. It has craft shops, places to eat, and a farm for children. The Norfolk coast is about a forty minute drive if you want a beach.
The key things are: the garden is private and fully enclosed. There is a hot tub in the garden. It's yours to use. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
