Orchid Lodge
Orchid Lodge is a single bedroom place in Hainford, out in the Norfolk countryside. It sleeps two people and has two bathrooms. It's part of a small group of barn-style lodges beside a lake, so the main view is water and reeds.
It's very quiet here. The lodge is light inside because of the big picture window. The site is about three acres with two fishing lakes. You're welcome to fish in them, or just walk around the grounds. There's a lot of birds and wildlife about.
The lodge has a 5 Star rating. It's all on one level with no steps at the entrance, so it's suitable for a wheelchair. There's a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included.
You've got a local pub and restaurant about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest proper shop is about four miles.
It's a good spot for seeing other parts of Norfolk. Norwich is about seven miles away for shops, the cathedral, and that sort of thing. The Norfolk Broads start about six miles from here, where you can get boat trips. The coast at Cromer is about half an hour's drive. The National Trust's Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both close by.
