Cornflower Cottage is a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It’s built on the ground floor, so there are no stairs inside. The doorways are wide and there’s a ramp to the front door. It’s part of a larger site with about 11 acres of woods and fields you can walk around.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and well kept. Everything’s included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking right outside. There’s a washing machine too.
The garden is enclosed, so it’s fine for dogs. You can bring up to two.
It’s in Horsford, which is just north of Norwich. There’s a shop half a mile away and a pub that does food about a mile down the road.
Right next to the property is the Marriotts Way. It’s a disused railway line that’s now a path for walking and cycling. It goes for about 27 miles, so you can get a good walk in without needing to drive anywhere.
By car, you can get to the Norfolk Broads in about half an hour. The north Norfolk coast, places like Cromer and Sheringham, is about the same. Norwich city centre is only ten or fifteen minutes away. The castle and cathedral are worth seeing. There are a couple of big shopping centres and a market.
If you like historic houses, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both National Trust places and are within a 30 minute drive.
