This is Riverside Cottage in Costessey. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a wet room shower.
The main thing is it has its own indoor heated swimming pool. It's private, just for the cottage. You get that to yourselves.
The garden is enclosed. French doors open onto it. There's a path down to the riverbank at the bottom. You've got your own bit of river frontage there. We keep a three-man Canadian canoe there for guests to use. It's a quiet bit of the River Wensum. You might see the odd fisherman go by in a rowing boat, that's about it.
The cottage has a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's wheelchair accessible too.
The village has a couple of pubs and a shop within walking distance. Norwich is about five miles away. That's where you go for shopping, the castle, the cathedral, restaurants, that sort of thing.
If you fancy the Broads, Wroxham is about a 20 minute drive. You can get boat trips from there. The north Norfolk coast is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Good for beaches, walking, and seal trips from Blakeney.
Facilities: it has pretty much what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. It's pet friendly, up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
