The Street Farm Barn
The Street Farm Barn is in Costessey. It's a detached barn conversion we did up some years ago. It's old, Grade II listed, so you get the beams and wooden floors, but it's got modern heating and that sort of thing.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not overly fancy.
The barn sits in the corner of our own grounds, so you've got privacy. The garden is enclosed, good for kids or a dog. There's parking right by it.
In the village, about a quarter of a mile down the road, there's a shop, a post office, and two pubs. One of the pubs does food. There's also an Indian takeaway if you can't be bothered cooking.
If you like walking or cycling, the Marriott's Way path is right on the doorstep. It's a good trail. Norwich city centre is about five miles away. That's where you'll find the castle, the cathedral, the theatre, and all the shops and restaurants. It's an easy drive or you can get the bus.
The North Norfolk coast is about 25 miles, so a bit of a drive for a day at the beach, but doable. Holkham or Wells-next-the-Sea are nice.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
