The Lodge is in Swannington, which is about a 15 minute drive north of Norwich. It's a detached cottage, a proper old thing with a thatched roof. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. You can bring a couple of dogs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is good for colder nights. The garden is yours to use, and there's parking right there.
You're in a little village here. It's quiet. Norwich is the main thing nearby. You can drive in, or there's a park and ride not far off. It's got the castle, the market, and all the shops you'd need. The Norwich Castle museum is worth a look.
For the coast, you're looking at about half an hour in the car. Cromer and its pier is one way. Sheringham is another. If you want a big beach with sand dunes, Holkham is a bit further but within reach. The Sheringham Park gardens are nice for a walk.
The Norfolk Broads are close too. Wroxham is where you'd go to hire a boat for the day, or just to have a look around. The Visit Norfolk Broads site has details on boat trips.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi. All the bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's an old cottage so you'd need to check the specifics if that's important.
