The Waiting Rooms

The Waiting Rooms is in Cawston. It's a one bedroom place for two people. It used to be the waiting rooms for the railway station, which is why it's called that. The track is now the Marriott's Way, so you can walk or cycle straight onto it from the garden. The garden is big and enclosed, so it's good for dogs.

It's got a 4 Star rating. There's one bathroom, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to two dogs.

The village is a few minutes walk. There's a shop, a deli that does coffee, and a pub. The pub does food.

For days out, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both National Trust properties and are about a 20 minute drive. The coast at Cromer is about half an hour by car. Wroxham, for the Broads, is about the same. You can hire boats there. Norwich is 10 miles away for shops and the cathedral.

If you like railways, the Bure Valley Railway runs steam trains from Aylsham to Wroxham. It's a nice trip. Aylsham itself is a market town, about five miles away.
