The Waiting Rooms is in Cawston, Norfolk. It's the old station waiting rooms, right next to the old railway line. We live next door in the Station House. There's also a small caravan site on the land.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden is good sized and fully enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs.
You're literally on the Marriott's Way. That's the old train line, now a path. It's 26 miles long, from Norwich to Aylsham. Perfect for walking or cycling straight from the door. The surface is mostly good, even if you're not too steady on your feet.
Cawston village is a few minutes' walk. There's a pub, a shop, and a deli that does coffee. Aylsham is five miles for a bigger supermarket.
If you like stately homes, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both National Trust and about a 20 minute drive. The coast at Cromer is about half an hour. It's a proper seaside town with a pier and crab stalls. Wroxham, for the Broads, is about 25 minutes. You can hire day boats there.
Norwich is about 20 minutes in the car. It's got the cathedral, the castle, good shops, and plenty of places to eat.
The place has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. We have bike storage if you need it.
