The Nest

The Nest is a bungalow, so it's all on one floor. That's useful if you've got anyone who doesn't do stairs. It's detached and set back from the road a bit, so it's quiet. There's a garden that's enclosed.

It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the outdoor heated swimming pool. It's yours to use. There's also a hot tub. One of the conservatories looks out over the pool. It gets the sun. The other conservatory has the washing machine and a pool table in it.

Aylsham is a short walk away. It's a proper market town with independent shops, a few pubs, and some tea rooms. The pub down the road does food.

Norwich is about half an hour's drive. It's got everything: shops, the cathedral, the castle museum, theatres. The coast at Cromer is about twenty minutes. It's got a pier, a beach, the usual seafront stuff.

For days out, Blickling Hall is just up the road. It's a great walk around the gardens. The Bure Valley Railway runs from Aylsham to Wroxham, which is right on the Broads. You can hire boats there.

Other places within thirty minutes or so are Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park, and the town of Holt. The beaches at Holkham and the quay at Blakeney are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes.

In terms of stuff, it's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog. Please note, it's in a residential area and it's not for stag or hen parties.
