Stackyard Cottage
Stackyard Cottage is in Cat's Corner, Norfolk. It's a detached barn conversion, all on one level. It sits in our farmland but it's private, with its own driveway and garden.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. The main space is open plan. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. We allow one pet for a charge and a second one comes free. You get nice views over the fields from the patio.
We're three miles from North Walsham. That's where you'll find a supermarket, a few shops and places to eat. The nearest pub is about the same distance.
You can walk straight from the door onto footpaths. The Weavers Way is nearby. The Norfolk Coast is about a 30 minute drive. Mundesley beach is good, and Cromer and Sheringham are the proper seaside towns with piers and things. The Broads are also within half an hour. Wroxham is where you'd go for boat hire.
If you want a trip out, Norwich isn't far. It's got the castle, cathedral, and all the shops. For a stately home, Blickling Hall is a popular one.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and bedding and towels are included. I'm a beauty therapist based on the farm, so I can do treatments if you book in advance.
