The Old Stables is in Swafield, north Norfolk. It’s a conversion on a livery yard, so there are horses around. You might see them from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable. The ceiling has beams and some exposed flint and brickwork. The stairs are a bit steep.
The kitchen leads out to an enclosed lawn. There’s a patio with a hot tub on it. It’s private.
The local shop and pub are two miles away, in the village. The coast is about four miles. That’s where the good sandy beaches are, like Cromer and Sheringham. Cromer has a pier and a proper town.
Norfolk is good for walking. You can start from the door. The Norfolk Broads are about half an hour’s drive. Blickling Hall is nearby, with a big park for walks. They do concerts in summer.
For days out, there’s Banham Zoo, Wroxham Barns, and the Dinosaur park at Lenwade. They’re all within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities: there’s a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. It says it takes up to four pets. There’s an electric vehicle charger.
