The Old Stables

The Old Stables is in Swafield, Norfolk. It's on the edge of our livery yard, so you'll see horses and ponies coming and going. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable.

The building used to be stables so there are beams and bits of exposed flint and brick. We've kept that but tried to make it a nice place to stay. The stairs are a bit steep, just to warn you.

You get your own enclosed garden. There's a patio and a lawn. The hot tub is on a raised deck, up a few steps from the lawn. It's private.

Things here: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to four dogs. There’s parking right outside.

The shop and the nearest pub are about two miles away in the village. The pub does food.

You can walk straight out from the door. There are footpaths through the woods and fields. The north Norfolk coast is about a 15-20 minute drive. Good beaches at Cromer and Sheringham. The Broads are about half an hour away in the other direction.

If you're after a day out, Blickling Hall is nearby and has a big park to walk in. For kids, Banham Zoo or Bewilderwood are within a 30 minute drive.
