Keepers Retreat, The Annex
Keepers Retreat, The Annex is in Roughton village. It’s down a private lane so it’s quiet. The whole place is on the ground floor.
It’s a 5 Star place. That means it's been finished to a high standard. It’s all open plan – kitchen, living and dining area together. There’s a shower, not a bath. Outside is a private courtyard with a gas barbecue.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom. There’s parking right there. All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. No pets.
You can get to the coast in about ten minutes by car. Cromer’s pier and beach are close. Further along, Blakeney Quay is good for a walk and you can get boat trips to see the seals in season.
There are a lot of big estates nearby if you like walking in parkland: Felbrigg Hall, Blickling, Holkham, Houghton, and Sandringham. The Broads are about half an hour’s drive if you fancy a boat trip.
Sheringham Park is a good walk. For birdwatching, RSPB Cley Marshes and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve are nearby. Norwich city centre is about twenty minutes by car if you want museums or shopping.
