Orchard Cottage
Orchard Cottage is near Gresham in Norfolk. It's a converted flint barn on our farm. The place is at the end of a long drive, so it's quiet. You look out over the fields we farm.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating downstairs and a wood burner in the living area. The kitchen is open plan.
You have your own enclosed garden with a patio. It gets the sun in the evening. We have a proper cycle store if you bring bikes. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
The local village, Lower Gresham, is a couple of miles away. There's a shop and a pub there. For a bigger shop, Sheringham is about a 15 minute drive. That's where the main beach is. Cromer is about the same distance the other way, famous for its pier and crab.
If you like walking, the Weavers' Way footpath is close by. Cycle Route 30 goes past the gate. It's about an hour's cycle to the coast on quiet lanes. For a day out, the Poppy Line steam railway runs from Sheringham. The market town of Holt is ten minutes away.
Along the coast, the bird reserves at Cley and Morston are about a 20 minute drive. You can get boat trips to see the seals at Blakeney Point from there.
