Orchard House
Orchard House is our cottage on Hole Farm near Hempstead. It's detached, so you're on your own. It sleeps six people in four bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The house looks out over fields. It's quiet. We've put some old furniture in there and some new stuff. It's a mix. The farm has won conservation awards. We've planted a lot of trees and hedges.
There's an outdoor heated swimming pool you can use. It's shared with the other cottages here, and it's seasonal, so it's only open in the warmer months. There's also a shared tennis court.
You're about a mile from a pub that does food. The nearest shop is in Holt, about three miles away. The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. You've got Blakeney, Cley, and Weybourne that way. Cromer is a bit further.
Blickling Hall is very close, maybe ten minutes by car. It's a National Trust property. National Trust Blickling Estate. Holkham and Sandringham are within half an hour for a day out. The North Norfolk Railway is at Sheringham. Norwich is about forty minutes if you want a city.
For facilities, you've got pretty much everything: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and a wood burner. There's a BBQ and garden furniture. We include bedding and towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking right outside the house.
