Middle Wing, Gresham Hall
Middle Wing is on the Gresham Hall estate in East Beckham. It's one of four holiday apartments in the main hall building. The whole place was renovated a few years ago, so it's in very good condition. It's got a five star rating because it's well finished and has everything you need.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a welcome pack with some basics like milk and bread when you arrive.
The hall is down a long private drive, so it's quiet and feels a bit separate. You can park right outside. It's a rural spot but not remote. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in the village.
The coast is about three miles. Sheringham has a sandy beach and a proper town with shops. Holt is a nice market town close by too. You can get to Cromer with its pier quite easily. The whole north Norfolk coast is good for exploring. It’s an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
If you want to go further, the National Trust Norfolk Coast has lots of walking routes and beaches. The Norfolk Broads are about a 40 minute drive for boat trips. Holkham Hall and Blickling Hall are both within half an hour if you like big estates.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The heating and hot water work well. The stairs are normal, nothing tricky.
