Driftwood House

Driftwood House is on a quiet side street in Sheringham. It's a three bedroom place that sleeps five. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is it's really close to everything. You're a minute's walk from the beach, which is sand and shingle, and maybe two minutes from the town centre. The town has all the usual shops, cafes, and a few good pubs. The North Norfolk Railway steam train runs through, which is nice to see from the garden.

The house itself is spacious. There are two living areas and a conservatory. The garden is private and enclosed. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's parking for one car on the drive.

Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you let us know.

Sheringham Park is just over a mile away. It's National Trust, so good for walks. The coastal path is right there if you want to walk to Weybourne or Cromer.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got Blakeney for seal trips, Wells-next-the-Sea with its beach huts, and Cromer for the pier. Felbrigg Hall is a nice National Trust house about twenty minutes away. The RSPB reserve at Cley Marshes is about twenty minutes too.

Useful links: Sheringham Park (National Trust), Norfolk Coast National Landscape, and North Norfolk Railway.

No pets, sorry. The stairs are a standard staircase, not steep like some cottages.
