Stables
The Stables is in Gresham. It’s on our land, down a long drive. We live in the main house but you’ve got your own space. It’s a single storey place, brick and flint, used to be farm buildings.
It’s for two people. One bedroom, one wet room. Everything's on the ground floor so it’s easy to get around. The rating is 4 Star. It’s comfortable and well-equipped, but not a show home. It's warm.
You can bring two dogs. There's a decent bit of garden that’s just for you, and you’re welcome to walk around our four and a half acres if you want. We’ve got a bike store too. Cycle Route 30 goes right past, so you can cycle from the door.
The lanes around here are quiet. Good for walking. Sheringham is about four miles away. That’s the nearest proper town. It's got a sandy beach, a leisure centre called The Splash, and the Poppy Line steam railway station.
Cromer is four miles the other way. That’s got the pier and the theatre. Holt is five miles inland, lots of little shops and galleries there.
If you like birdwatching, the coast at Cley and Morston is about a twenty minute drive. You can get boat trips to see the seals at Blakeney Point from there. The Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park National Trust places are close by.
In the cottage, there's a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s an electric vehicle charger and parking right outside.
