Stables

The Stables is on our family farm, just outside Gresham. It's a flint building that we've done up. You'll be in our grounds, but it's completely private. We're at the end of a long drive off a quiet lane.

It's all on one level, which makes it easy. There's one bedroom and a wet room with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The main thing is the space, really. The living area is open-plan and looks out over the fields. It's peaceful.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but do check your dog at the boundaries as it's farmland. There's a cycle store if you bring bikes.

For facilities, you've got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside and we've put in an electric vehicle charger.

Location wise, you're about four miles from Sheringham beach. Cromer is the other way, also about four miles. There's a shop and a pub a couple of miles away in the village.

The lanes around here are very quiet for walking or cycling. You can get to the coast on a bike if you're keen. For a day out, the Norfolk Coast is all along there. The seal trips from Morston or Blakeney are good. We like Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park, both are close by. Holt is about five miles inland for antiques and cafes.
