Beach Haven
Beach Haven is our house in Sheringham. It's detached and sits up on Beeston Bump, which is a bit of a hill. That means you get the views, which are nice. The coastal path runs along the edge of the Bump, and the access to it is basically right outside the gate.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating so it's well looked after. The garden is fully enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog. We do allow one pet.
You can walk down into Sheringham town and the beach. It takes about fifteen minutes, maybe twenty coming back up the hill. There's a shop, pubs, and a cafe in the town. The Splash leisure centre is down there if the weather's bad. Sheringham Park is lovely for a walk.
You can leave the car. The North Norfolk Railway, the Poppy Line, runs from Sheringham up to Holt. It's a steam train. Blakeney is about nine miles away for seal trips and the bird reserves. Cromer is four miles along the coast, they've got the pier and a good beach.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. There's a wood burner for the winter. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking is on the drive.
