This is Beach Haven. It's in Sheringham, on the Norfolk coast. It's a detached house up on the hill, not far from Beeston Bump. That means you get a good view from the garden and the living room. The living room has big windows to look out.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well kitted out and looked after. Pets are welcome, one dog.
The place is right on the coastal path, literally a few steps from the door. It's about a fifteen minute walk down into Sheringham town centre and the beach. That’s all shops, cafes, and pubs. There’s a local shop and a pub about half a mile away. Sheringham has a golf course, a leisure centre with a pool, and the Poppy Line steam railway runs from there to Holt.
You can walk west along the coast to West Runton and Cromer. Cromer is four miles, with its pier and promenade. Going east, you get to Weybourne and then onto the salt marshes around Blakeney and Cley, which are about nine miles. That’s good for birdwatching and seal trips from Blakeney quay. Holt is eight miles inland, it’s an old market town.
Norwich is about 27 miles if you want a city day for shopping or the castle. The Norfolk Broads are also within half an hour, around Wroxham.
For facilities: it has parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included, and there’s a cot available. There’s WiFi and a TV.
