Honeysuckle Hut is a shepherds hut in woods near Briston. It sleeps four, but it's one room. It's well insulated and surprisingly warm. There's a king size bed and a sofa bed for the other two.
The bathroom is separate. It's a short walk to a private cabin with a proper flushing loo and a hot shower. There's also a family bathroom nearby with a bath if you need it.
You're right in the woods. It's quiet. You'll see rabbits and birds. There's a deck with a table and chairs and a BBQ. The stars are good at night because there's not much light around.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and everything works. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings, bedding and towels are included, and you can park right next to it.
One well-behaved dog is allowed.
There's a shared heated swimming pool on the site. It's open in the summer months.
You're about six miles from the coast. West Runton and Sheringham are the nearest beaches. Holt is a nice market town about four miles away for shopping and cafes. Norwich is about half an hour's drive if you want a city day.
If you're walking, the North Norfolk coast path is easy to get to. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here. For wider planning, Visit Norfolk is useful.
