Honeysuckle Hut is a shepherds hut in Briston, Norfolk. It sleeps four, but there's only one bedroom space, which is a platform for the double bed. The two other beds are sofa beds in the main living area. It's a four-star place, so it's done to a good standard.
It's on a woodland site. The hut sits in its own bit of a clearing. The trees are mature and it feels very quiet. You get your own outdoor space with a barbecue.
There's no bathroom in the hut itself. Your private bathroom is in a separate cabin about a thirty-second walk away through the trees. It has a proper hot shower and a flushing toilet. There's also a family bathroom on the site, closer to the other huts, which has a bath.
The site has a shared heated swimming pool you can use. You're about six miles from the coast here. The beach at West Runton is one of the closest. Holt is nearby for shops and cafes.
The hut can be booked with others on the same site if you're a larger group. You can bring up to two dogs.
For planning days out, the National Trust Norfolk page is useful, and so is the North Norfolk District Council site for local information.
