Apple Tree Cottage is in Themelthorpe, which is a small village out towards Reepham. It's a 200 year old brick and flint cottage attached to our house. There's a gravel drive where you can park.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, it's warm. It's been renovated but it's still an old cottage, so the ceilings are low in places. There are some beams.
There's an enclosed garden with a patio. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You have it completely to yourselves.
The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in Themelthorpe village. The North Norfolk coast is a good 30-40 minute drive depending on traffic. Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are up that way. Holt is about twenty minutes by car.
Norwich city centre is about a 25-minute drive. The Norfolk Broads aren't much further.
We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a wood burning stove, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The WiFi works fine.
For planning days out, the National Trust Norfolk Coast site is useful.
