Moor Farm Cottage
Moor Farm Cottage is on our beef farm just outside Foxley in Norfolk. It's one of a few cottages here, but you have your own space. The cottage sleeps seven, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
It's a quiet spot. You get views over the fields. There's a patio and garden area for the cottage. Inside, it's set up as a traditional farmhouse would be. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
We've got two fishing lakes on the farm, which are included in your stay. No extra cost. There's also a children's play area and a shared outdoor swimming pool. The farm is working, so you'll see cattle around. We accept up to two dogs.
The stairs inside are typical for a cottage of this age. They're a bit steep.
The nearest shop is about a mile away in Briston. The closest pub is two miles, in Themelthorpe. It does food.
If you want to go to the coast, Wells-next-the-Sea is about a 30 minute drive. It's a proper seaside town with a good beach, shops and places to eat. Sheringham and Cromer are about the same distance, maybe 35 minutes. Cromer has its pier. Norwich is also half an hour away. It's a city with a castle, the cathedral, and lots of shops.
