Moor Farm Cottage
Moor Farm Cottage is one of a few holiday cottages on our working beef farm near Foxley. It's a terraced barn conversion. We've tried to keep it feeling like a proper farmhouse inside.
It sleeps seven. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfy, not luxurious. The stairs are fine, just normal cottage stairs.
There's an open fire in the living room. You get the logs for it. The kitchen has a range cooker, which is good if you like cooking.
Outside, you have your own patio and garden area. The farm has fishing lakes you can use, no extra charge. There's also a children's play area on site. If you've got dogs, you can bring two.
The facilities are what you'd expect: TV, wifi, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
The local shop is about a mile away. The nearest pub and restaurant are two miles. For the coast, Wells-next-the-Sea is about a 20-25 minute drive. It's got a nice beach, the narrow gauge railway, and the usual seaside shops. Sheringham and Cromer are about the same distance. Norwich is half an hour away if you want a city day. It's got the castle, good shopping, and theatres.
