Archie's Barn is in Lenwade. It’s a single-level barn conversion in the middle of fields and woods. You get it all to yourselves. The drive in is a long track. It’s not tarmac. Look out for deer on the way.
It’s got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-finished and comfortable. Sleeps eight. Four bedrooms: two king-size beds, a twin room, and a bunk room for kids. Two bathrooms, one is en-suite to the main bedroom.
Inside, it’s all open plan. Vaulted ceiling, exposed beams. There are two wood burners, one in the dining area and one in the sitting area. The kitchen has a breakfast island. There’s a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. All bedding is included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Outside, there’s a large south-facing courtyard with a barbecue and garden furniture. There’s a swing. The front lawn is good for watching the sunset. At night, you can see a lot of stars. A barn owl sometimes uses the nesting box on the front of the barn. It’s shy, but it’s there.
You can walk down the track. There’s a pond with ducks. The nearest pub serving food is about a mile and a quarter away. A big supermarket is an 11-minute drive. The Royal Norwich Golf Club is just three minutes down the road.
For a day out, the Norfolk Broads are about 20 minutes by car. The North Norfolk coast, for beaches like Holkham or Wells-next-the-Sea, is around 40 minutes. Roar Dinosaur Park is nearby if you’ve got kids.

No pets, I’m afraid. Parking is on site.
