Baileys Barn is here on Moor Farm, just outside Foxley. It's a single-storey, which means no stairs to worry about. There are other cottages here too, but this one sits a bit quieter, away from the main farmyard. You can walk to the main site in about five minutes if you want.
The barn sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The floors are tiles, I think. It used to be part of the farm buildings, so it's got a solid feel.
Outside, there's a private garden. It gets the sun in the morning. The farm itself is a working beef farm, but you won't see a lot of that from the barn. On site, there's a play area for children and a couple of fishing lakes. The fishing is included in the price.
For supplies, there's a shop about a mile away in Foxley. The nearest pub, The Foxley Wood, is two miles. They do good food.
Wells-next-the-Sea is your main seaside option, about a 25 minute drive. It has a nice beach, the quay, shops and cafes. Sheringham is about the same distance, it's more of a traditional seaside town. Cromer is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes, but it has the pier and a long beach.
Norwich is a half hour drive straight down the road. It's a city, so it has everything: the castle, museums, lots of shops, and good theatre. You can use the park and ride if you don't want to drive in.
In the barn, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are there. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Norfolk page has useful information. For the coast, North Norfolk District Council has good visitor details.
