Pheasant Roost
Pheasant Roost is a barn conversion on our land just outside Woodgate. It's got three bedrooms and sleeps six. There are two bathrooms, one is en-suite to the main bedroom.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and well-equipped.
You're here for the space and the quiet. It's a rural spot, part of our twenty-acre smallholding. There are some horses in the paddocks. The garden is yours to use.
The swimming pool and hot tub are in a covered barn near the main house. You book slots to use them privately.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. That works well for groups. The kitchen has the usual things: dishwasher, washing machine. We include bedding and towels.
The stairs are there, so we've fitted a stairgate at the bottom. There's a cot and highchair too if you need them.
We allow one well-behaved dog. The garden is fenced but not completely dog-proof, so you'd need to keep an eye on them.
The local pub is about a mile and a half away in Swanton Morley. They do food. The nearest shop is about the same distance.
You're well placed for exploring. Norwich is about a twenty-minute drive. It's a good city for a day out.
The coast at Cromer or Mundesley is roughly half an hour away. The Norfolk Broads are about the same drive. For historic houses, you've got Blickling Hall or Sandringham.
