Pheasant Roost
Pheasant Roost is on my land near Swanton Morley. It's a barn conversion, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms so less queuing in the morning. The main bedroom has a four poster bed and its own shower.
The place has a 5 Star rating. That means it's well looked after, everything works, and it's clean. It's not grand, it's comfortable.
It's out in the country. You can see horses from the windows sometimes. There's a patio garden with a table. You're welcome to walk around the twenty acres. The swimming pool and hot tub are covered, so you can use them even if the weather isn't great. They're shared with the other cottage, Frogs Hall, but you get booked slots so it's private.
You're about a twenty minute drive from Norwich. Good for a day out shopping or to see the cathedral. The coast at Cromer is about half an hour north. For something different, the Blickling Estate is a nice walk and the house is impressive. Sandringham is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
The local shop and a couple of pubs are a mile and a half away. You can walk it if you like. They're fine for basics and a meal.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair.
