Stable Cottage 8 is one of several cottages on our farm at Moor Farm, just outside Foxley in Norfolk. It's a converted stable block, arranged all on one floor, but you go up a flight of stairs to get into it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable, and warm, but it's not a show home. It's a farm cottage.
The cottage is part of a working beef farm. You'll see the animals. There are two fishing lakes on site which are free for guests to use. There's also a children's play area. It's all included.
You're quite remote here. The nearest shop is about a mile away. The closest pub and restaurant are two miles. You'll need a car.
For the coast, Wells-next-the-Sea is about a 25 minute drive. It's a proper seaside town with a long beach, pine woods, and a harbour. Sheringham is about the same distance the other way, with a steam railway and park. Cromer and its pier is a bit further. Norwich is roughly half an hour's drive if you want a city day - the castle, the lanes, that sort of thing.
Facilities in the cottage: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
