Stable Cottage 5
Stable Cottage 5 is on Moor Farm, near the village of Foxley. It’s one of a row of converted barns on a working beef farm. You get the feel of a farmyard, but it’s quiet.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s clean and comfortable without being high-spec. Everything you need is there.
The main thing here is the space. There are fishing lakes on the farm, included in your stay. There’s also a children’s play area and an outdoor swimming pool. You can just park the car and not go anywhere if you don’t want to.
The stairs inside are a bit steep. It’s an old building. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
For shopping, the nearest pub is about two miles away. A proper shop is about a mile. Wells-next-the-Sea is probably your main destination, it's about a 25-minute drive. It’s got the beach, the quay, and all the usual seaside things. The beach there is really good. Sheringham is about the same distance the other way.
If you want a day out, Norwich is half an hour’s drive. It’s got the castle, the cathedral, and all the shops. The coast road runs right along Norfolk, so you can explore lots of different beaches and villages from here.
What’s included: all your bedding and towels, the cot and highchair if you need them, a washing machine and dishwasher. There’s parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
