The Chapel

The Chapel is in Hindolveston, which is a quiet village inland. It's a detached property, so no one attached on either side. It was a working Methodist chapel until not so long ago, so the main room has a very high ceiling. It feels quite spacious because of that.

It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. The kitchen is modern.

The village itself is small. There's a shop and a pub about two miles away in the next village. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Fakenham or Holt.

The north Norfolk coast is about a 20 minute drive. Blakeney is good for crabbing off the quay. Wells-next-the-Sea has a long sandy beach and colourful beach huts. Cromer and Sheringham are traditional seaside towns a bit further east. The beach at Weybourne is shingle and often quieter.

Holt is a nice market town about 15 minutes away. It's got individual shops and places to eat. The Blickling Estate is nearby if you like walking in parkland. The Thursford Collection is about 20 minutes away, which has steam engines and a big Christmas show. Holkham Hall and its beach are roughly half an hour.

Norwich is under an hour's drive if you want a city day. It has a castle, the cathedral, and lots of shops. The Norfolk Broads are about 40 minutes south for boat trips.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. The garden is enclosed. There's parking for several cars. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and a highchair if needed.
