Pheasant Lodge
Pheasant Lodge is in Welborne Common. It's a detached, single-storey place, so no stairs to worry about. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's on a quiet country lane, right next to our house. The views out the front are over fields. You've got your own enclosed courtyard at the back.
It's a hamlet, so there's not a lot right here. For a shop or a pub you'll need to drive a few minutes. Dereham is about ten minutes away. They've got a leisure centre with a pool, a small cinema, and the Mid-Norfolk Steam Railway. Wymondham is fifteen minutes. Nice abbey and high street. Norwich city centre is about twenty minutes.
You're fairly central in Norfolk here. The north Norfolk coast is within half an hour for beaches. The Broads are about the same. There are two golf courses within five minutes' drive. If you like walking or cycling, you can start from the door.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
