Pheasant Lodge is a detached single-storey place on Welborne Common. It's next to our house, and a golf course is just over the fence. It's very quiet, out on a country lane. The view from the front is fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Being all on one level makes it straightforward.
There's a proper enclosed courtyard out the back with a table and a BBQ. It's private. Beyond that is our garden, which you're welcome to look at but not use, if that makes sense.
You'll need a car. The nearest shop and pub are in the next village, about a five minute drive. For a bigger shop, Dereham is ten minutes away. They've got a cinema and a leisure centre with a pool there too. The Mid-Norfolk Railway station is worth a look if you like steam trains.
Norwich is about twenty minutes. You've got the castle, cathedral, the market, and all the shops and restaurants you'd expect. The coast is a bit further, maybe forty minutes depending on which bit you're heading for. The Broads are about half an hour. For local walks or bike rides, you can just head out the door onto the lanes.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, TV, and the WiFi usually works fine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
