Sandbanks is in Bacton, on the north Norfolk coast. It’s a detached house, so no neighbours to worry about. The beach is about 50 yards away. It’s sandy and doesn’t get too crowded.
It’s built for six people. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That’s handy if you’ve got a full group. It’s got a 5 Star rating, so everything should be in good working order.
The main thing is the indoor pool. It’s heated, so you can use it even if the weather isn’t great. There’s a conservatory that leads out to an enclosed garden. It’s safe for kids or a dog, but we don’t take pets here, sorry.
For facilities, you’ve got the washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking. All bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.
The local shop and pub are a few minutes’ walk. Bacton itself is quiet. Cromer and Sheringham are a short drive for a busier day out, with proper beaches and piers. The steam railway at Sheringham is good if you’re into that.
If you want to explore, the Norfolk Broads aren’t far for boat hire. Norwich is about half an hour away for shopping or a city day. You can see the seals at Horsey beach in the winter, which is worth the drive.
