The Officer's House

The Officer's House is in Keswick, which is a village near the coast in Norfolk. It's a big, old house. It sleeps twelve, with six bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating.

It's detached, so no neighbours attached. The garden is walled, so it's private. There's a little playhouse out there. Parking is on site.

The house is from 1650, so it's got old features. There are exposed beams, an old Norfolk oven, and pamment floors. The stairs are what you'd expect for a house that age. They're a bit steep and winding.

You're about two hundred yards from a sandy beach. It's an easy walk. The local shop is about a hundred yards away, and the pub is a quarter of a mile. Both are handy.

For bigger shops, North Walsham is five miles. Cromer and Sheringham are about fourteen miles. Sheringham has a swimming pool with slides, if that matters. The North Norfolk Railway steam train runs from there too.

You're in a good spot for the coast and the Broads. You can hire a boat on the Norfolk Broads from about eight miles away. For walking, the coast path is right there. There are National Trust places nearby, like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall.

Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed.
