Pippins

Pippins is in Great Hautbois, a little hamlet outside Coltishall in Norfolk. It's next to our house but it's your own place, private. The cottage sits in a few acres of our grounds, so it's quiet and feels properly rural.

It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a traditional cottage with beams, comfortable and warm all year round. We have a biomass heating system, so the heating and hot water are unlimited, you won't run out.

Coltishall village is about half a mile away. It's got most things you need: a few pubs that do food, a tea room, shops, and a small supermarket. There's a river about 600 yards from here if you fancy canoeing or fishing. The Bure Valley Railway footpath starts nearby, which is good for walks or cycling to Wroxham or Aylsham.

Norwich is eight miles. That's where you go for the cathedral, the castle museum, theatre, and proper shopping. The Norfolk Broads are right on the doorstep for boat trips. The coast, with beaches like Happisburgh or Sea Palling, is about a 40 minute drive. There are a few National Trust places like Blickling Estate or Felbrigg Hall within half an hour.

For facilities: it's all on one level, which is handy. There's an enclosed garden and patio with furniture, parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one well-behaved dog.
